Hi, I’m Daniel. I am currently studying Technical Theatre and Live Events at BOA Stage and Screen Academy. I began my journey at Alderbrook Secondary School where I joined the Alderbrook Stage Crew in January 2022 after one of my close friends introduced me to it.
In my time there I participated in many different types of events such as concerts, plays, musicals and dance shows. I continued with the Stage Crew until I had finished my GCSEs in June 2025 where I then decided that I would like to properly learn about and achieve a qualification with a view to pursue a career in this industry.
Since starting my course at BOA I have had the opportunity to create the lighting for a wide variety of shows and to work in a range of locations. Over my time so far, I have had the opportunity to build my skills in specific lighting control systems such as ETC EOS and GrandMA3 by getting valuable experience at places like PRG.
At Stuchfield LX I have been leading lighting for theatre and live events, this includes building various lighting effects depending on the performance, building multiple cue lists and consistent show operation.
